My journey with Reiki started after becoming a doctor and was curious about other healing modalities. After taking Reiki 1 and 2 (twice!), I stopped practising it until 2017. Due to a medical condition that cannot be managed with conventional medicine alone, I restarted the training from Usui Reiki 1 in The Reiki Centre Singapore. This time the journey continues and I keep adding more complementary modalities to the repertoire. I like to teach with a grounded, down-to-earth, scientific approach, linking the modalities with medical knowledge as a researcher and physician. My background in the corporate world helps me to communicate with people who are looking for a no-nonsense approach to healing and self-empowerment.
